I know, we’re into December and a couple other big holidays are on the horizon, but I just wanted to do a shout out to my favorite reason to gather the family together: Thanksgiving. I am so blessed to have all four kids living near me, and able to come home and spend the holiday with us. I know, I’ve heard it from plenty of others, that it gets increasingly complicated once there are husbands and wives added to the mix. So, for now, I’m thankful, grateful and feeling blessed to have the kids to myself, with some great significant others in the mix. And now, with everybody back absorbed into busy twenty-something lives, my heart hangs onto the memories of our long weekend together. That’s what life is all about.
